NEW Training on product liability and crisis management "From Claim to Trust."
New at Breedwise: a practice-oriented two-day training that combines legal knowledge with the human side of claims handling. Not a dry legal course, but a training in which you learn to keep communicating professionally when things get tense, using real cases from horticulture, role-plays, and a training actor who plays an angry and a distrustful customer.

"You've ruined my season." "I want a solution today." Sound familiar? A liability claim is rarely just about liability, it's about trust, emotion, reputation, and the relationship at stake, at precisely the moment when the pressure is highest.
In an engaging setting, you will learn, among other things, to: apply the legal basis of product liability within the horticultural supply chain; investigate claims carefully without immediately going on the defensive; separate facts, assumptions, interests, and emotions; prevent reputational damage through effective crisis communication; and recognize escalation before it gets out of hand. The training also covers prevention, chain liability, and insurance, including the worked example in which one party's contaminated seed grows into a liability claim worth many millions. A separate half-day is dedicated to quality management in handling complaints and preventing recurrence. The training concludes with an integrated crisis simulation and a personal action plan.
Who is this for?
Seed companies, breeding companies, plant nurseries, QA and quality managers, account managers, board members, technical specialists, and advisors within the horticultural supply chain.

The trainers
Jan Kamper (JMK Services) built up a track record over more than forty years in the commercial horticulture sector as a product developer, key account manager, sales leader, and strategic advisor. He developed the legal foundation of this training and works from the conviction that people and organizations are never "finished". His approach strengthens and builds on what's already there, rather than breaking it down.
Anne-Claire van Altvorst (Van Altvorst Coaching) is a business developer, mediator, and coach specializing in stakeholder management, communication, and behavior under pressure. Among other roles, she works as an executive coach, chair and member of advisory boards, and facilitator of learning and development programs for entrepreneurs, and is often called upon as an independent sparring partner who looks not only at the figures and plans but also at the people who have to deliver on them.
Peter W.T. van Enckevort is co-owner of Breedwise and an international expert in hygiene, phytosanitary risks, and quality certification. He is co-founder and lead auditor of the GSPP hygiene protocol, and led the Naktuinbouw Elite certification program as lead auditor for quality management systems.
