This course provides the scientific background to understand various biological processes in seed production, seed treatment, storage, and germination. It also presents the latest developments in research and seed treatment.
Intended for:
Middle management of seed companies, plant nurseries, and related institutions working in seed technology, seed research, seed production, and quality control. Breeders who deal with (difficult) seed germination.
Goal:
Theoretical training in seed physiology and technology through lectures, demonstrations, and assignments. To become familiar with the latest results in seed technology research.
