Who we are
Idy van Leeuwen is the founder of BreedWise and brings over 30 years of experience in training and knowledge transfer within the Plant Propagating Material sector. She graduated from Wageningen University in PlantBreeding, Genetics, Plant Pathology, and Statistics. Since 1992, she has been developing and delivering international courses for professionals in the plant breeding industry.
Peter van Duin is a Wageningen University graduate with extensive experience in breeding and operations in both the vegetable and ornamental sectors. With focus on continuous improvement, he specializes in breeding program development, seedproduction processes and quality management systems, adding strong practical expertise and industry insight to BreedWise.
Peter van Enckevort has more than 35 years of experience at Naktuinbouw and is a leading expert in quality management systems, hygiene, and pathogen risk management for seed companies and plant nurseries. For over 20 years, he has translated this expertise into hands-on training and consultancy, supporting companies in internal audits and applying best practices in daily operations.
