In collaboration with Breedwise, Naktuinbouw organized and conducted a 3-day company hygiene training in April 2026.
Our facilitator and trainer Peter van Enckevort (almost 20 years an experienced trainer in our sector) presented the participants with topics including disinfection, hygiene sluices, scouting methods and risk analyses. The subjects of phytopathology, pathogenesis, and water disinfection were also extensively covered (with and by guest lecturers from Naktuinbouw and WUR-Wageningen).
Participants from various companies in the horticulture sector from different countries (breeders, crop caretakers, managers) took part in this refreshing but very necessary training to prepare themselves for a solid future.
